Who We Are
Riding free since 1945, bound by loyalty and legacy.
Brothers of the Open Road
Since 1945, the P.O.B.O.B. have stood as one of the original outlaw motorcycle clubs, born in Bloomington, California, and carried forward across generations. We are more than riders — we are a brotherhood forged in loyalty, respect, and the unshakable pursuit of freedom. Our legacy was written on the highways of America, from the legendary Hollister Rally to the countless miles that followed. Every patch tells a story, every ride honors those who came before us, and every member carries the weight of our history with pride. We don’t just ride — we live by a code that binds us together, stronger than steel and older than time.
The Origin of the P.O.B.O.B.
Our Origins
he Pissed Off Bastards of Bloomington (P.O.B.O.B.) were born in 1945, in Bloomington, California. In the aftermath of World War II, young men and veterans sought freedom, adrenaline, and a brotherhood that civilian life could not provide. Out of that hunger for the open road, the P.O.B.O.B. were forged.
The Hollister Rally, 1947
In 1947, the club rode into history at the Hollister Rally — an event that would forever mark the birth of outlaw motorcycle culture. What the press called chaos, we called freedom. That moment carved the P.O.B.O.B. name into the foundation of a movement that would spread worldwide.

Colors and Meaning
Our patch is more than a symbol — it is our code. The red stands for the blood shed along the way, the blue for the loyalty that binds us, and the skull with goggles for the fearless spirit that defines us. Every stitch carries history, every color carries meaning.
Growth and Legacy
From the early days in California to the Nevada chapter and beyond, the P.O.B.O.B. have remained true to the same principles: loyalty, respect, freedom, and courage. We are not followers of trends or seekers of approval. We are riders of the open road, guardians of a legacy that began more than seven decades ago.
